These vehicle windows can be called somewhat special because they are not installed in the vehicle itself, but in the towed units for ventilation. These types can be installed in the sides of not only caravans or caravan buses, but also in other closed trailers, such as equine or other livestock transporters, but fit to the sleeping cabins of camions, trucks, and even can be in boats.

These windows can be opened in four directions, and their lid, closing cover can be replaced with a larger one, or different colour and also for a different material. The frame of the caravan window consists of two parts and having an opening mechanism. When the window frame and opening mechanism are assembled, it can be freely varied with a closing cover of any geometry.

The opening mechanics can also be installed to the side windows of camions and trucks' sleeping cabins which based on their own unique construction.

If it is produced for large series builders:

In the case of series production, roof covers of different sizes, shapes, curves, colors, and materials can be ordered for the window according to the customer's plans, requests, and needs.
If it is needed, together with traffic control license number.
The locking device (opening-closing mechanism) ensures the free fixing possibilities of the cover.

Its base material:

– The framework of the window is flexible fiberglass-reinforced, shape-retaining plastic.
– Sealing profile: silicone synthetic caoutchouc. It is such a material with rubber properties, which is resistant to sunlight definitely for 25 years. Between - 40°C and +180°C (= -40 °F and +356°F) temperature interval, its flexibility does not change. Constant! In this way it will insulate in every type of weather conditions for sure!!!

The upper (outer frame) to which the closing mechanism is attached can be installed in two variations:

1.) Only with a gluing procedure, when we apply car windshield glass glue between the upper frame and the vehicle plate and after we simply press the upper frame into the receiving space which has been cut out in the construction plate:

– this method is sufficient for vehicles which does not need too much high level of aesthetic demands.
– at this time it is not necessary to purchase the lower decorating frame which can be fixed mechanically (with plate screws).

2.) The upper frame has the same installing method, but it must be screwed together with a lower covering frame visible in the interior. This gives it a more aesthetic look.
